High Interest Themes
We believe in open-ended play and recognize the value of following the interest of children. To that end, each class is designed loosely around a theme with lots of room for child-directed play and learning. We emphasize processes over product allowing for a plethora of choice for playing and learning.
Our studio classes also incorporate seasons and holidays as a springboard for play and learning.
Hands-On Activities
Our activities are designed to keep your child engaged and incorporate many opportunities to develop those ever important social & 21st century skills.
Promoting Home Connection
Each class has an optional resource guide and activities in a kit for purchase. These kits provide playful experiences to connect and enhance home playing & learning with the activities happening in our studio.
Another great resource is our newsletter/blog - The Playtime Press. It highlights activities, materials, and events that promote play at home and in the community.
